Red Clay will be making changes in Secondary Schools. We realize there is a clear need for greater community engagement, shown by low survey participation, and repeated public comments highlighting the need for more transparency and public participation.
To help address this, we created a site that consolidates public records to track ongoing changes and keep the community informed. The site also provides an opportunity to catch up if you are just learning about this, and includes the option to translate transcripts using your browser’s built-in tools, which is a helpful feature for families who prefer their information in a language other than English.
Our goal is to provide an abbreviated look-back on meetings, because having the facts is the first step toward meaningful collaboration.
The site's archive includes:
⏯️ Timestamped Recordings & Minutes
📂 Documents & Committee Materials
Through our involvement in district and state advocacy, we have connected with parents and caregivers who keep us informed of what's happening in their districts. We appreciate the time you spend sending emails, providing translations, and attending meetings.
If you’d like to become more involved but don't know where to start, or if you have a mission of your own, please tell us about it.
